The weekend of March 15-16th will be a busy one for the troops. On Saturday, the troops will be running a booth at the Men’s Conference in Spokane. If any fathers are going, please let me know. It would be great to have a couple of the boys there at the booth as well. On

Sunday, February 23rd at 1pm, the troops will meet in the lower level of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes in Spokane for a skills workshop. This is the time of year for our troop to re-charter with the national organization. We will be testing the troops to see what level they have achieved

On Saturday, January 25, 2025, we taught the kids about building, extinguishing, and cooking over camp fires. We followed the Firemanship chapter in the Field Manual (page 145). During the event, Troops foraged in the woods for their own fuel to build their campfire. They built their fire and cooked their own lunch over it.

On December 21st, 2024, the Troop had a Christmas Party combined with a new member recruiting event. The pizza party was a hit and a few new families signed up. On Sunday, November 24th, the troop will attend vespers together at Bishop White Seminary. Fr. Ratuiste will meet with the troops at 6:30pm and give us an orientation on how to pray these prayers prior to vespers starting at 6:45. On October 4-5, 2024, the Troops had a service project running an apple cider pressing booth at the Mennonite Country Auction in Ritzville. Proceeds from the event go to support the international relief efforts of the Mennonite Central Committee. The service project was a success! Thank you to all who participated. We pressed 300 gallons

Our ongoing service project will be to help serve coffee and doughnuts after the 11am Mass at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes in Spokane once a month. Troop members should be in the lower level of the Cathedral prior to Noon (or immediately after Mass if attending that Mass). Please wear your uniform
