January 24th at 1pm in the Cathedral Auditorium (lower level) of Our Lady of Lourdes will be the first in a series of orienteering classes for the troop. Former Army Infantry Officer Connor McKeegan will be instructing the boys in a classroom session. In February and March, Connor will guide the troop through progressively more advanced field sessions to help the kids develop this important skill.
Immediately following the classroom session, we will have a ranking ceremony and party. Fathers, please review the ranks in the Field Manual ($25) or the Officer’s Manual (free download) and let us know which rank is most appropriate for your troop member by emailing TROOP19@TSGHQ.ORG
On January 25th, the troop will be serving coffee and doughnuts after the 9am Mass at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes.
