On Saturday, January 25, 2025, we taught the kids about building, extinguishing, and cooking over camp fires. We followed the Firemanship chapter in the Field Manual (page 145).
During the event, Troops foraged in the woods for their own fuel to build their campfire. They built their fire and cooked their own lunch over it. Hot dogs were provided for the troops to cook and eat.
After successful completion of the Firemanship course, the troops practiced shooting and archery in preparation for those upcoming achievement courses.
