On 7/7-7/8, the troops took an overnight backpacking trip to Blossom Lake. We met at the trailhead at Thompson Pass in Montana and had a 3-mile hike in Friday. The kids learned about collecting different materials to make a fire and different methods of starting fires. The lake was beautiful and the kids had fun spotting trout in the water. Saturday, we broke camp and hiked out.
